The Republic Volunteer Fire Company

Due to the hard work of Pete Daley our State Representative, we now have this beautiful 2010 Ford F350 HD Brush Truck added to our Fleet!

Pete got us a grant for $50,000.00!  We used this money to purchase the Brush Truck.  First, we bought the 2010 F350 Pickup Truck through the co-op purchasing agreement thru Redstone Township Board of Supervisors.  The truck came from Woltz and Wind Ford out of Monroeville.  Then through Fire Fly Fire Equipment sales rep. Bill Snyder, we worked to get the skid unit, lights, sirens, and lettering to make it into the fire truck, that we have today.

The residents of Redstone Township thanks Pete for helping the community.

Your local volunteer fire department needs you just as much as your community needs to have a fire department. For the last ten years fire departments have found it very hard to get new members, and the Republic Volunteer Fire Company is no different. As our members get older and health and life take thier toll, fire departments start running short handed. Thus they have to start to rely on other departments for man power and equipment to help them  service the communities they may serve.  The Republic Volunteer Fire Company is in good shape now, but looking into the future, we are in need of future Firefighters. So come on and make those child hood dreams come true and join today.

This association instituted for the purpose of benefiting our fellow citizens by preserving their property from the ravages of fire. You can expect prompt and fast service. Our firemen are carefully trained to meet our citizens need. We take great pride in helping you in your time of need. We handle calls from public services to any emergency that may come your way. You can count on us to be there as quickly and efficient as possible. We take special  pride in protecting your personal belongings, as well as your privacy.
